2026 Writing Schedule Update & Book Teaser

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a minute since I last posted. It will never cease to amaze me just how much can happen in a matter of months. I have had several health concerns these past few months, which have resulted in new meds that really kick my butt, and a surgery scheduled in the next few months that’s going to put a cramp in my December writing plans. Thankfully, it’s nothing life-threatening, but inconvenient and painful all the same. All of this has delayed my writing, unfortunately. So, I am posting my new plans for releases and giving you all a teaser of what I have been working on for book 2 of my Sci-Fi series.

I thank you all for your support and patience, and can’t wait to get my new stories out there for you all to read!

Starbright | Book 2 of Federation of Nine Galaxies: Moved to October

*TEASER*

Sent, blinked the command screen.

With an exhilarated, exasperated sigh, Karr raked his hands through his unbraided, white hair, still not used to its length. There, it was done. The lines he had found, and the information, those damn photos he had hacked, were now out on the ether and should arrive in Divak’s inbox. His heart hummed violently in his chest as the image of those three, half-breed infants, lifeless, was forever burned in his mind. They were real. What he had suspected when he had happened upon that image of the human during the briefing was true. They were being trafficked for breeding and not by just anyone: by High Senators of their own fucking government.

Vexed Karr picked up the physical copy of a fourth image he had found in the mix. It had not seemed relevant to what Divak had been looking for, so he hadn’t included it, and yet, after talking to Divak, he found himself transfixed by it.

Against a cold metal wall, a human woman sat upright, her dark hair tasseled with sweat, and her pale cheeks flushed. Exhaustion lined her face as she stared down at the bundle she clutched protectively in her arms. Although the skin was the color of white smoke rather than gray ash, and black tuft and hair, it was no question the infant was half Bellondar. And despite knowing how that child had come into being, that no paternal stripes adorned the infant’s skin, sheer joy and love radiated from the woman’s scared face.

Karr dropped the print back on his desk, got up, and padded into the kitchen of his studio flat, desperate to flee the image and the strange feelings it invoked in him. Fuck, he needed something to eat. He flung his fridge door open and vigorously rummaged to the back, desperate for the last tub of Tissal Cream he knew his mate loved to hide from him. Something sweet always made that sour feeling better.

“Karr?” his mate, Sora, called from the bed just across the room. “What are you doing? Come to bed already.”

Visible from the kitchen, he watched as his lithe mate rolled atop their large bed, shifting the covers to expose her long legs and thin tail. Long white hair with hints of blue from the neon light spilling in from their large, single window sprayed across the dark sheets and her heart-shaped face. Even in the dark, he could tell she was grinning at him, knowing full well what he was up to. She was more than a former street thug like himself deserved, and this cheap studio flat was far beneath what she could have achieved. Why had she agreed to be his mate, he would never understand.

New Year’s will fall during my recovery time, so I know with certainty I won’t get this pushed out by then. So I’m going to shoot for February of next year.

Keep checking back for updates. My longer term goal is to do more posts to keep you all better informed. Keep reading books, even if not my books! It’s good for you. ❤

A glimpse at the Beast

Greetings, my avid readers! Since Zareen is behind me, I have been working hard on the next title on my writing list: The Beast and the Rose. This is an unconventional twist on the traditional story of The Beauty and the Beast, with some spicier moments, of course. ;)-

But don’t pick up this title thinking this will be another dark monster romance! That’s just not how I could roll with Garald, Emeline, and Belle’s story. No. This title will challenge your notion of what makes a man a “beast” and your ideas of love, duty, and sisterhood.

This title, unlike most of my others, is in the 1st Person Dual POV with duels, curses, tyrants, and rebellions.

And, I thought I would share a glimpse at the beast with all of you.

Because I love being a tease! ❤

Garald
The Lion of the West

I freeze. My hands tighten on my horses’ reins.

We had decided to walk a few miles. Give the horse a rest and our own legs a stretch.

But the road, it went quiet in the wrong way.

I curse under my breath.

Birdsong cut off mid-note. The chatter of chipmunks quieted. My hand slid to my sword.

Riders.

Their sound reached me them before I saw them—the dull clink of tackle, the measured cadence of hooves dragged down by a heavy cart. They were merchants, of that I was sure, but I was still not willing to risk it.

Risk her.

“Hide,” I hissed.

Marco is already moving, not needing my warning.

I caught Emeline’s shoulders and shoved her into the tree next to us. She hit it with a soft gasp, more startled than hurt. My body moved on its own, shielding her from view, pressing her into the massive trunk. This had been the sixth time we had ended up this way. It was starting to become a habit. It also had me questioning the reputation of this road as being unused.

Every time she was warm. Soft and yet solid against me.

Her body curved, pressing into me as if instinctively responding to the contact, too. And curved she was. The press of her full breasts, the feel of her rounded thighs against mine, the smooth arch of her hip beneath my hand as I grab it without thinking. No longer was she shaped like the flat, frail girl she had once been. And no longer did her dress conceal all her grown-up places. They were all striking me like arrows. My jaw clenched hard. Another part of me felt harder inside my breeches.

Stop.

I fight to keep my focus on the road. To not look down and see the exposed swells of her breasts rising and falling with ragged breath. We really needed to get her new clothes. Damn the woman for not bring extras. For just stealing my horse without thinking of provisions. Being next to her like this, with her dressed as she was, it was horrid, sweet agony. More than once, I had found myself praying for more travelers on the road just so we could end up like this.

I thought prayers were supposed to go unanswered.

My eye catches the red on her cheeks. Her bottom lip clenched between her teeth.

I lick my own.

Stop.

She was Belle’s—my fiancée’s sister. I try to dredge up the memory of Belle’s sweet face, its heart-shaped curves, and full lips as it stared at me with devastation from the castle window.

I wanted Belle.

I had given an oath to Belle.

She needed me to save her.

“Soldiers?” Emeline whispered.

I suppressed a groan as her warm breath tickled my neck.

Dear god, I needed to be wed and bedded. Fast.
